Privacy Policy

Last Updated: January 2025

Here's the deal: we collect data to run a business, not to sell your email to spam lists. This policy explains what we track, why we need it, and how we keep it secure.

What Information We Collect

When you interact with BetLaunch, we gather:

  • Contact details - Name, email, phone number (only what you provide through forms or consultations)
  • Business information - Company name, revenue projections, jurisdiction interests (helps us recommend the right licensing path)
  • Technical data - IP address, browser type, device info (standard website analytics)
  • Communication records - Email threads, call notes, project specifications (stored in our CRM for account management)

We don't track your personal gambling habits. We're B2B, not B2C.

How We Use Your Data

Zero surprises here. Your information serves three purposes:

  1. Service delivery - Processing your platform setup, coordinating with legal teams, managing vendor integrations
  2. Communication - Sending project updates, compliance alerts, industry news you actually opted into
  3. Improvement - Analyzing which content helps operators most (anonymized metrics only)

We don't sell data. Period. Our revenue comes from platform fees, not affiliate marketing schemes.

Data Security Measures

iGaming operators handle sensitive financial data, so we take this seriously:

  • Encrypted storage (AES-256 standard)
  • Access controls (team members see only what they need for their role)
  • Regular security audits (quarterly penetration testing)
  • Secure file transfer protocols (no email attachments with licensing docs)

Perfect security doesn't exist. But we follow the same protocols we recommend for client platforms.

Third-Party Services

We use vetted vendors for specific functions:

  • CRM - HubSpot (contact management)
  • Analytics - Google Analytics (traffic monitoring)
  • Email - SendGrid (transactional messages)
  • Payments - Stripe (invoice processing)

Each provider has their own privacy policy. We vet them for compliance, but you should review their terms too.

Your Data Rights

You control your information:

  • Access - Request a copy of what we have on file
  • Correction - Update outdated business details
  • Deletion - Remove your data (we'll keep transactional records for legal compliance only)
  • Opt-out - Unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime

GDPR and CCPA compliance isn't just a checkbox for us. It's how we expect the industry to operate.

Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal cookies:

  • Essential - Session management (can't disable these without breaking the site)
  • Analytics - Traffic patterns (anonymized, helps us improve content)

No retargeting pixels. No social media trackers. No ad network bloat.

Data Retention

Active clients: we keep your data for the duration of our partnership plus 7 years (standard business record retention).

Prospects who don't convert: contact info stays in our CRM for 2 years, then gets purged unless you re-engage.

Changes to This Policy

When regulations shift (and they will), we'll update this page. Material changes get emailed to active clients 30 days in advance.
